Revd Dr Simon Cross

Simon comes to the Hull Area Team after spending years on the south bank of the Humber. He has a great deal of experience in community development work, and began his professional life as a writer before working in chaplaincy and academia. 

Simon takes a contemporary and progressive approach to ministry, and loves to spend time with people. He's an enthusiastic supporter of local interfaith initiatives, and is a research associate with the Margaret Beaufort Institute of Theology in Cambridge, as well as the chair of the Progressive Christianity Network (Britain).
